The Laboratory is equipped with a set of state-of-the-art mass spectrometers which allow to perform top quality analysis of proteins, peptides and low molecular weight compounds.
Peptide/protein analysis :
- molecular weight measurement with ESI technique
- protein identification from dry pellets, solutions and SDS PAGE bands stained with Coomassie or silver
- identification of posttranslational modifications (PTM) sites for phosphorylation, acetylation, ubiquitination, methylation, nitrosylation and others
- quantitative analysis: relative (iTRAQ, SILAC or label-free methods) or absolute (using synthetic peptide standards)
- hydrogen–deuterium exchange mass spectrometry
