We currently operate 13 mass spectrometry systems dedicated to global, targeted, and structural proteomics, as well as global and targeted lipidomics and metabolomics. The Mass Spectrometry Laboratory is fully equipped to carry out a wide range of analyses on almost any type of biological material and has access to high-performance computing resources.
Orbitrap Astral
Orbitrap Astral Thermo mass spectrometer working with Evosep One chromatogram and Ion Mobility FAIMS Pro Interface. Cutting-edge performance for global proteomics, including plasma, single cell and peptidomics analysis.
Orbitrap Exploris 480 Thermo mass spectrometer working with Evosep One chromatographs and the Ion Mobility FAIMS Pro Interface
Global and targeted experiments, including long series of clinical samples.
Thermo Orbitrap Elite coupled with Thermo EASY-nLC 1000
High resolution, speed and sensitivity make this instrument a perfect choice for the analysis of samples with low amount of protein (like silver-stained) gels and mapping of posttranslational modifications.
Thermo Q Exactive coupled with Waters nanoAcquity UPLC
Hybrid mass spectrometer with quadrupole-type mass analyzer and Orbitrap detector. Due to the high resolution and speed it is used mainly in qualitative and quantitative proteomic profiling of very complex protein mixtures.
Waters SYNAPT HDMS coupled with Waters nanoAcquity UPLC
Waters SYNAPT HDMS hybrid Q-TOF pectrometer is the only one on the market equipped with Ion Mobility module, allowing the separation of isobaric fragments of the analyzed substances. Additionally our setup allows perform ETD fragmentation.
Waters Q-TOF Premier coupled with nanoAcquity UPLC Waters
Older generation hybrid spectrometer - despite many years of work in our lab it is still used in routine analysis.
Waters SYNAPT MS coupled with Waters nanoAcquity UPLC with TRIZAIC technology or Waters Acquity UPLC
The latest generation hybrid spectrometer equipped with nano and standard UPLC. Used mainly in metabolomic and structural research.
Waters Xevo TQ-S coupled with Waters Acquity UPLC
The latest generation triple quadrupole mass spectrometer Waters Xevo TQ-S featuring novel StepWave ion optics. It is dedicated to the quantification of small molecules and peptides. It equipped with ESI, APCI, APPI, and optionally nanoESI. Our laboratory has two such setsups.
WatersXevo TQ-MS coupled with Waters Acquity UPLC or Waters nanoAcquity UPLC
A triple quadrupole mass spectrometer dedicated to routine quantification. It has the ability to work with ESI, APCI, and optionally nanoESI and APPI. Our lab has two such sets.
