The Laboratory is equipped with a set of state-of-the-art mass spectrometers which allow to perform top quality analysis of  proteins, peptides and low molecular weight compounds.

Peptide/protein analysis :

• molecular weight measurement with MALDI and ESI techniques
• protein identification from dry pellets, solutions and SDS PAGE bands stained with Coomassie or silver
• identification of posttranslational modifications (PTM) sites for phosphorylation, acetylation, ubiquitination, methylation, nitrosylation and others
• quantitative analysis: relative (iTRAQ, SILAC or label-free methods) or absolute (using synthetic peptide standards)

Analysis of other organic compounds::

• molecular weight measurement using MALDI and ESI techniques
• quantitative assays for drugs and their metabolites in body fluids
